Women’s Program

We offer a safe place for women to regain their confidence and a chance to heal. When given an opportunity to interact in an environment of respect and affirmation, women who are victims of violence can heal. We offer a number of groups designed to assist women dealing with violent experiences. Facilitated groups include a discussion topic and encourage personal sharing and support through dialogue. Our groups are open to women of all ages, color, sexual orientation and abilities. All voices are respected and heard.  [top]

Women’s Nonviolence Groups

Women are referred to these groups due to their own use of violence. Many are also victims of domestic violence. Women are assessed and put on a 29-week curriculum that accommodates both predominate aggressors and primary victims.
Day and evening groups available in English and Spanish.
Fees:  Based on a sliding scale.

Mothers’ Educational Group

Mothers are referred to this group because their children have experienced domestic violence, child abuse, and/or neglect. This 26-week program provides encouragement and skills to help mothers form physically and mentally safe relationships and environments for themselves and their children. The first 13 weeks focus on women’s empowerment and nonviolence; the second 13 weeks address parenting support and information.
